Historical pro forma financials according to the new segment structure

Metso Corporation’s stock exchange release on November 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. local time

In September 2011, Metso published a new segment structure, which will be effective as of 1 December 2011. The new reporting segments are Mining and Construction, Automation, and Pulp, Paper and Power. Valmet Automotive and our Recycling unit will be reported under Group Head Office and other.

Unaudited pro forma financials on a quarterly basis for 2010 and 2011 according to the new segment reporting structure are presented in the tables below. The attachment and the Metso website contain more comprehensive segment information.

The new segment structure will be implemented in the financial statements for 2011 to be published on February 9, 2012.
