About this site

This website is optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and Netscape 6 browsers and newer versions of them. The choice of browsers is based on the data received from our website user logs. The site is best viewed at 1024 x 768 pixel resolution or higher.


JavaScript and cookies

The website utilizes JavaScript technology to open new browser windows and to enable functions like making bookmarks or favorites, and font size control.

Cookies are also used on the site. They act as the browser's memory when figuring out the current font size selection.


Iframe

Iframe technology is used for integrating certain services produced by Metso's partners. Examples of such services, such as sharetools, can be found in the Investors section. If your browser does not support this technology, you can typically open these services in a new browser window instead.


The news service

Metso's press and stock exchange releases are categorized by type in the News service. Releases older than one year are found in the News archive. Both current and archived releases can be searched with the News search.

You can also subscribe to a weekly news summary by e-mail. The subscription can be cancelled by replying to the incoming summary and typing CANCEL in the subject field of the response message.

Attachments

Most of the attachments provided on Metso's website are in PDF format. The Investors section also includes some Microsoft Excel files.

The software needed to read the PDF files can be downloaded at Adobe’s website via the icons on the right.

To make the use of the attachments as easy as possible, they are always opened in a new browser window.


Webcast

The press conferences on Metso's interim and annual results are available as live webcasts. The webcasts are also archived for later viewing. The technical requirements of Webcasts are found in the accompanying file.
