Fiber technology

We provide complete pulp mill solutions with everything from the wood yard to the dried pulp bale – as well as the recovery island. From single machines to complete new production lines, rebuilds and modernizations for both chemical and mechanical pulping as well as processes for recycled fiber. Our extensive know-how in fluidized bed combustion of biomass and other solid fuels as well as chemical recovery systems gives our customers maximum results from their operations.

Our experience and know-how in process automation and control systems guarantees the best possible process optimization. More than 75 % of the world´s pulp flows through Metso valves.

Paper technology

Metso is a full-scope supplier with our technology and expertise covering a wide range of process and machine designs for all paper, board and tissue grades. Our automation and control systems help customers to further stabilize, manage and improve their processes. Our customers range from high-volume producers focusing on a limited range of products to specialty paper mills. About half of the world's paper and board machine capacity has been built by Metso.

With close to 50 service centers around the globe, we work in close cooperation with customers to maintain and enhance production line performance. Local service with local resources.
