Metso Waste Recycling has a long tradition of designing and manufacturing industrial components and equipment.
The 2011 acquisition of the fine-shredder technology of Holzmag GmbH, Switzerland extended the company’s position as a market leader in equipment for pre-shredding with fine-shredding equipment for a wide range of applications. These include RDF production down to 10 mm, fine shredding of virtually any type of recyclable material, and PP, PET, PEHD, PELD, foils and textiles. The fine shredders also shred certain types of non-ferrous metals, such as copper and aluminium, or glass fiber, into very small sizes.
M&J pre-shredders are used extensively in hazardous waste plants, waste-to-energy plants, MBT plants, landfills, RDF plants and composting plants. M&J fine-shredding equipment is the perfect match once the different components have been sorted for further processing and size reduction, whether the reduction is for recycling purposes or for the production of RDF.
Metso’s pre-shredding and fine-shredding equipment is suitable for a wide range of waste types, including municipal and industrial solid waste, biomass, plastics, textiles, glass, aluminum, non-ferrous metals and wood.
