Air classifier systems

Metso designs and manufactrues a line of air classifiers to suit a range of applications and systems. Our line includes gyrotors, delta-sizer, and twin cone classifiers.

• The Metso gyrotor, a rotating vane air classifier, separates dry solid particles by size and is ideal for any separation where the fines are 35 mesh of finer.

• Delta-sizers are designed to accurately separate dry powders of mixed particle size within the range of 5 to 200 microns into distinct fractions at high extraction efficiency and low power consumption on a continuous basis.

• The twin-cone classifier is a proven device for air-stream size classification of dry coal and coke products. This classifier has inner and outer metal cones and adjustable static vanes.
