Metso's pyro processing projects can be supplied either as equipment only or on an installed basis. Our pyro processing specialists have experience with projects of over $USD 100 million in value.
Metso has extensive computer models for simulating thermal systems for pyro processing. A library of tests and operating systems that have supported their accuracy backs up these models. We also have a test facility with direct and indirect batch and continuous rotary kilns, fluid beds and other processing equipment.
Our chemical, mechanical, structural, electrical and control engineers have extensive experience in equipment and plant design. We do detail mechanical design of key components, and the integration of the balance of plant equipment such as emission control systems.
We are the only company that has the original drawings, specifications and calculations for pyro processing systems and equipment that have been installed under the following trade names:
