Frequent kiln alignments will lower maintenance and operational costs by minimizing refractory loss due to mechanical stresses, reduce kiln drive horsepower, increase life of gearing, riding rings, carrying rollers, filler bars, bearings and other kiln components. This allows for accurate dimensional data and pier sightings without the affects of radiant heat and vibration associated with hot alignments.
