Self cleaning panels
Designed to combat the common problems of blinding and pegging. Our Sta-Clean screens are available in two styles, Sta-Clean L and Sta-Clean S. Both styles are manufactured out of abrasion resistant Ludloy wire.
Sta-Clean L Series
Manufactured using alternating straight and crimped wires, the L Series produces a unique self-cleaning action by allowing the crimped wires to vibrate independently while the straight wires maintain tension.
Having the ability to withstand greater tension allows the screen to maintain accurate openings. It can withstand greater impact from oversize material. To maximize the self-cleaning action, it is recommended that the feed material contain over 10% particles that are five times the size of the opening.
Sta-Clean S Series
Manufactured using crimped wires held in place by wire clusters that maintain an accurate opening. The “S” style crimped produces a unique diamond shape opening that provides maximum open area. All the wires vibrate independently, preventing fine or near-size material from blocking the opening.
The self-cleaning action is further enhanced by the impact of the feed material on the screen surface. The absence of a straight wire increases the open area, making this weave style ideal for fine material that is prone to pegging.
