Worldwide Debut for Nordberg GP Crusher

The Nordberg GP200, the latest member of the Metso Minerals cone crusher series made its worldwide debut at this year’s Samoter exhibition.

The Nordberg GP200 is the latest member of the internationally renowned Metso Minerals cone crusher series, which includes the GP and HP ranges.

With the launch of the Nordberg GP200, the GP series now includes nine cone crusher models, suitable for secondary, tertiary and fine applications.

The new Nordberg GP200 has a typical capacity of between 100 and 200mtph (110-220stph) and is ideal for quaternary applications such as sand making as well as for two-stage mobile crushing.

This new unit is equipped with an advanced A2020 automation system, which guarantees constant coke feeding and high productivity. The Nordberg GP200 also incorporates an upgraded GP lubrication system, which has been designed to make the crusher more user friendly and more reliable in operation.

Due to its patented piston design - used exclusively in the GP series of cone crushers - the Nordberg GP200 is a very compact machine. The piston design gives the unit an outstanding performance: with a feed of 5-40mm medium hard granite, this crusher produces as much as 100t of good quality, minus 10mm end product.

The Nordberg GP200 total throughput is 165mtph with 15mm closed side settings with 85% passing through a mesh of # 15mm.

Four different strokes are available for the Nordberg GP200 and five chamber profiles, which allows the crusher to be set-up precisely for the desired crushing process.

Over 2000 Nordberg GP series cone crushers are currently in operation around the world, which fully attests to the series’ reliability and versatility.
