APPOINTMENT AT METSO CORPORATION'S HEADQUARTERS
M. Sc. Vesa Taatila has been appointed Senior Vice President, Human Resource Development, Metso Corporation, as of September 17, 2001. He is also a member of Metso's Extended Executive Board. Vesa Taatila's main responsibility includes identifying and developing competencies and resources required by Metso's strategy.
Eero Leivo, Senior Vice President, Human Resource Management and Administration, will be responsible for the development of motivating industrial relations and working environment.
Taatila and Leivo both report to Tor Bergman, President and CEO.
