The original Metso doctoring solutions are designed to ensure trouble-free doctoring by providing clean roll surfaces and well-controlled web take-off.

Metso’s DryDoc T is an effective solution for dryer section sheet take-off.


Solid design and construction
DryDoc T is Metso’s standard solution for paper and board machines.

DryDoc T has a closed triangle-box design, strong enough to withstand all doctoring forces. If needed, DryDoc T can also be delivered with thermal insulation and stainless steel cladding.

A suitable pneumatic or electromechanical oscillator for DryDoc T can be chosen from Metso’s OsciPro family.

The loading and opening of DryDoc T is operated with pneumatic hoses. In a ropeless tail threading situation, a tail shooting blow pipe can also be installed on DryDoc T.

DryDoc T features
The blade of DryDoc T can be quickly changed from the side of the doctor. Optical measurements taken during the manufacturing process ensure that the support plate of the blade holder is always parallel with the shafts. This, in turn, ensures a reliable sheet take-off operation.

The installation of DryDoc T is easy with help of standard lifting hooks and several bearing housing options.
