Replaceable end rings for press rolls
This concept, which involves replaceable end rings, has been developed to make it possible to deal with worn roll ends without removing the roll from the press. Because of this, the time needed for the replacement is reduced to a minimum. This is carried out in our service workshop, as an optional part of a repair package.
The replaceable end rings are available for press rolls Ø 900, 1200, 1500 and 1800 mm.
Cleaner pulp reduces the need for bleaching and therefore effective washing is an important process factor. High equipment efficiency is sustained through service and maintenance. We possesses the knowledge and resources to guarantee reliable results.
Benefits of the upgrade package
As the end rings are split into two or three parts, it is not necessary to remove the rolls from the press to be able to change them. Because of this, the time needed for the replacement is reduced to a minimum.
Service measures
- The outer deck section is replaced with a new type with a thicker end ring
- Machining is carried out to make it possible to fit the end ring.
