During cooking, Metso's SuperBatch technology produces pulp with a higher yield as well as better uniformity and strength than that offered by any conventional system. For pulp washing Metso Paper has developed the TwinRoll press, which offers optimum capability for efficient, high quality washing with minimized carry-over to the subsequent stages. The TwinRoll enables the operator to minimize both the effluent load and the water consumption. Our latest innovations are in ZeTrac high consistency ozone de-lignification technologies, which improve efficiency, decrease bleaching costs and reduce effluent volumes without compromising fiber quality.
