Lokotrack mobile plants enable recycling in all locations
Because there is a need for new, environmentally sustainable and economical alternatives for recycled material crushing, especially at smaller sites, Metso mobile jaw crushing plants such as Lokotrack® LT96 ™ and LT106 ™ as well as Lokotrack® mobile impactor plants LT1110(S)™ and LT1213(S) ™ are specifically designed to meet these requirements.
With crushing happening on-site, transportation and fuel costs drastically decrease, cutting down on emissions and making crushing more profitable. The added benefit of less waste reduces the need for new dumping ground space and lowers the consumption of raw materials.
Metso Lokotrack LT96 and LT106 mobile jaw and LT1110(S) and LT1213(S) impactor crushing plants are equipped with an over-band magnet to separate metals from the end product. Lokotrack impactor plants are also well equipped to crush asphalt in warmer climates.
Controlling uncrushable objects
When crushing recycled materials, there can often be issues with uncrushable objects, such as slag or steel bars. Metso Lokotrack jaw crusher plants are available with an optional Active Setting Control (ASC) system. This highly advanced system acts as a setting adjustment to ensure that uncrushable objects can get out of the cavity by releasing the crusher cavity if any uncrushable material enters it. This function enables continuous crushing and also protects the crusher from extreme overloads. Active Setting Control is the ingenuity of our engineers and is only available from Metso.
By using Metso Lokotrack mobile crushing plants and screens, waste can be made into sellable products while preserving the environment.
