Olavo Nolasco, based in Oberursel, Germany is Director of Product Competitiveness Ferrous & Heat Transfer at Metso Outotec. He joined Metso Outotec in 2011 and has been focusing on improving productivity, safety, quality, and intelligence of the products since. He graduated from Faculdade de Engenharia de Minas Gerais, Brazil in 2013 and holds a bachelor’s degree in Automation and Production Engineering.

Geoffrey Legrand

Process Control Hardware Manager – Expert Services

Geoffrey Legrand graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie in France. He joined Metso in 2007 and was first involved in several R&D projects related to **VisioFroth™, then in a large amount of advanced process control projects covering a wide range of mineral processing (grinding, crushing, flotation, thickening, pelletizing). He has an extensive expertise in our advanced sensors among which VisioFroth™, VisioRock™ and AudioMill™. In his current role, he manages Process Control Hardware, is responsible for projects from Europe, Middle East and Africa and also supports these Market areas. (**As of 2022, VisioFroth has been upgraded to our new system, FrothSense+)
