Metso Paper to supply CTMP pulping line to Rottneros in Sweden

Metso Paper will supply a new market pulp line for Rottneros Group's Utansjö mill in Sweden. The line will start up in March 2005. The value of the order is over EUR 10 million.
The plant will manufacture CTMP (chemi-thermomechanical pulp) from hardwood with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons. Metso Paper's delivery will consist of process machinery, process engineering, training, erection and start-up of the CTMP line. This will be the third CTMP line delivery from Metso Paper to Rottneros.
The Rottneros Group is an independet market pulp company and a leading producer of CTMP. The Group includes the parent company, Rottneros AB, five pulp mills in Sweden and Spain, a sawmill as well as raw materials purchasing companies in Latvia and Portugal.
