The leading Finnish minerals and process technology company Metso has entered into a rental agreement for long-term office premises to support its growing operations in Lithuania. The new office is located near the city center of Vilnius at the Business Stadium Campus, which is already home to a variety of modern business services centers.
The move to the new office facilities is estimated to take place during the fourth quarter of 2020. Metso started its Business Services finance operations and customer and logistics operations in Vilnius in October 2019 from scratch; the operations have since grown to an organization of around 90 people.

In addition to the Business Services operations in Vilnius, Metso is getting ready to start operations at its new manufacturing site for high-quality mining consumables wear parts in Šiauliai. The factory, which will start operations this summer, will employ 80 experts by the end of 2020.
