NW Rapid™ Series portable crushers – also known as portable crushing stations - are wheel-mounted rock crushing equipment. The crushing stations are designed for quick set-up and are easy to re-locate within the site or transport on road.

Pre-designed plant layouts for fast delivery

NW Rapid™ Series portable crushers are wheel-mounted crushing machines that are made to process rocks in aggregates production.

The portable plants include pre-designed plant layouts, crushers and screens on wheel-mounted chassis, as well as feeders and conveyors. The entire plant is powered by electricity. By using renewable energy sources, the operation is even more sustainable.

Quick to set-up and easy to re-locate

Portable crushing plants are ideal for 1-2 years of crushing operations in one location. The equipment can be re-located on site – also called pit portable - and transported on road to a new location by a standard truck. In many cases, a crushing permit is easier to get for a portable plant compared to a stationary plant.

The NW Rapid machines are specially designed for quick set up for the entire crushing and screening plant. Thanks to hydraulically adjusted support legs and other functions, no heavy cranes are needed.

A small crushing and screening plant can be dismantled, packed and set-up on a new site in weeks instead months. That is why the range is called NW Rapid.

The quick set-up time and transportability to a new site opens new business opportunities for aggregate contractors and quarry operators, and offers more flexibility in mining applications.

NW Rapid offering includes aggregate crushing and screening plants for 250 and 350 tonnes per hour capacity.

Process control and remote use as a standard

Process control is a standard feature in NW Rapid portable solutions. It optimizes, monitors and controls the crushing stations. The IC control system also includes a Remote User Interface (RUI) with no extra license cost. You can control the entire process with a PC from the control room. No additional programming or software is needed as the RUI is displayed on a browser.

A remote process control increases the safety of the employees as the process can be adjusted from the control room without stopping it. Automatic process control increases productivity and preventive maintenance, while at the same time improves the quality and consistency of the end product.
