Efficient combination of crusher and screen
Hybrid mobile crusher and screener
Safe and easy to operate
Efficient crushing and screening with Lokotrack® LT330D™
Lokotrack® LT330D™ mobile crusher is an electric-driven mobile crushing and screening plant that combines a cone crusher and a screen on the same chassis. It is typically used as a secondary or tertiary crushing plant in a multistage crushing process to produce up to three calibrated end products.
In an ideal situation, Lokotrack® LT330D™ mobile crusher is combined with Lokotrack® LT120E™ mobile jaw crusher for an optimum crushing process. This process involving only two stages can be fully electric with an external power source by using onboard diesel generators.
Efficient crushing for demanding applications
Lokotrack® LT330D™ is equipped with the versatile and reliable Nordberg® GP330™ cone crushing unit, which is suitable for even the most difficult aggregates production. To achieve maximum performance in all applications, the crusher offers a wide selection of strokes with a large setting range. A deliberately designed 2,000 mm (6’ 7”) wide dual-slope screen with 3 decks and patented centrifugal conveyor provides excellent total throughput in a compact package.
Hybrid mobile crusher
During operation, Lokotrack® LT330D™ is fully electrically driven. To achieve the most economical operation, an external power source can be used. In locations where this is impossible, an integrated CAT® diesel engine and 520 kVA generator power package ensure efficient operation.
Optimum crushing results
Metso IC™ process control system optimizes crushing results. It enables single-button start and stop and features in-built troubleshooting as well as various parameter selections. All Lokotrack® mobile crushers in the same crushing process can be linked with Metso IC™. Furthermore, the whole process can be monitored and controlled conveniently from the excavator cabin with Metso ICr™ remote control software.
Lokotrack® LT330D™ is transportable and quick to set-up
The patented centrifugal conveyor keeps the transportation dimensions of Lokotrack® LT330D™ moderate. It is easy to transport between sites on a low bed truck, enabling efficient contact crushing. After arrival on site, Lokotrack® LT330D™ is quickly set up and ready for action thanks to its hydraulic cylinders for screen and conveyors.
Safe and easy to operate
Metso is investing heavily in its equipment safety and easy maintenance. In Lokotrack® LT330D™, safe and easy daily operations are ensured with an extensive platform, and easy access to crusher maintenance points and for changing screening media.

In 2014 the Finnish transport company Seinäjoen KTK made a major decision to expand its business to crushing and screening. The company has positive experiences of the two-stage diesel-electric Metso crushing and screening chain that was taken into use in March 2015. To date, KTK has been cost-effectively crushing and screening more than 450,000 metric tons of aggregate with the new Lokotrack plants.
The new diesel-electric-driven Metso Lokotrack LT330D, launched in 2014, has been received enthusiastically by Finnish crushing contractors. Hämeen Moreenijaloste Oy is one of the many companies that have already purchased the LT330D. The start-up has proven a success and the device has set a new record in producing fine gravel.
