How others have improved profitability and reduced risks?
Portable crushers, or portable crushing plants as they are also called, are wheel-mounted rock crushing machines. They are easily transportable to another location – for example between production sites. Often utilized in aggregates production and recycling applications, or in mining operations, portable crushers can also be equipped with a screen in the same frame with the crushing unit.

Metso NW Series™ portable crushers – Change your crushing plant’s location whenever you want
Metso’s range of portable crushers is called Metso NW Series™ portable crushers that also includes NW Rapid™ Series designed for fast delivery and quick set-up. Some people know these wheel-mounted crushing machines also as portable crushing plants.
Due to transportability, portable crushers commonly open new business opportunities for crushing contractors, quarry operators, as well as recycling and mining sites.
Portable crushers can be operated independently or in a two- or three-stage crushing application. Depending on the model, portable crushers provide excellent size reduction performance as primary, secondary or tertiary crushers, as well as in fine crushing applications.
Portable crushers are available with screens and feeders integrated into the same frame.
Portable jaw crushers
Portable jaw crushers are most commonly used as primary crushers. They are suitable for processing hard rock, soft rock and recycled materials.
Portable cone crushers
Portable cone crushers are developed especially for secondary, tertiary and fine crushing with high productivity. Portable cone crushers can reduce any rock types.
Portable impact crushers
Portable impact crushers can be divided into two different technologies, portable horizontal shaft impact (HSI) crushers and portable vertical shaft impact (VSI) crushers.
Portable HSI crushers have high reduction ratio and they are commonly used in primary, secondary, and tertiary crushing. Portable VSI crushers, on the other hand, produce precisely shaped cubical end products, and they are normally utilized for fine crushing in the last stage of the crushing process.
