More durability and safety for demanding operations

Features

The Metso CVB Series™ screens are for you when you need a versatile and durable screen for a more demanding process or application. They can be fitted with either tensioned screening panels or modular snap-on panels.

The screen angle is adjustable from 12-22° to favour either accuracy or capacity. Stroke and Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) parameters can be set up within a wide range to meet optimal performance.

The integrated feedbox is very deep and long to allow easy interface with the feed conveyor. Furthermore, the design provides immediate particle distribution over the first panel row of the top deck, delivering higher efficiency.

You can replace panels safely and fast thanks to spacious room between the decks.

Benefits

  • Fully configurable with options to match the most demanding applications
  • Maximal uptime
  • High health and safety standards
  • Versatility

Process overview

Thanks to their versatility, Metso CVB Series™ inclined screens are suitable for the coarsest separations to the finest ones. They can also operate under wet process, including washing or rinsing.

The CVB-P Series™ screens can also be used in the primary applications with very coarse feed gradation.

How it works

The Metso CVB Series™ inclined screens are circular motion screens. The shaft line is positioned at the center of gravity resulting in a circular motion on all points of the screen. The particles are moved forward by the screen motion and by the gravity effect resulting from the screen angle. The travel speed of the material is even all along the decks.

The shaft line is made of Metso’s unique Modular Vibrators (MV) being flange mounted to the side walls and synchronized by a cardan shaft. Each MV modular vibrator includes two bearings providing very long bearing life. To facilitate the servicing, Metso offers Exchange Program of MV vibrators.

The side walls and the cross members are weld-free to accommodate the fatigue stress.

The integrated feed box and the discharge spouts are fitted with replaceable liners as a standard for premium wear protection. Optional cross member protection is also available to provide maximal uptime.

The screening panels are key elements to achieve the performance and to lower the operational cost.

Modular screening panels (option) are key elements in achieving screening performance fast in abrasive applications, and to lower the operational costs.

The Metso screening panels are a perfect fit with the Metso CVB Series™ inclined screens, and when used, Metso commits to meet the specification of the end products and the panel lifetime.
