M&J FineShred 3550 fine-shredder

High capacity single rotor fine-shredder

M&J FineShred 3550 is a fine-shredder used in waste recycling applications, most often in refuse-derived fuel (RDF) production. It differs from smaller model M&J FineShred 1550 by having a longer rotor, fitted with more knives and higher electrical motor power. M&J FineShred 3550 can handle loose material, bales, rolls, bricks, and it produces homogenous output from 10-100 mm.

Wide range of applications

Compatible with many different materials and various recycling applications.

Designed for efficient performance

Large cutting area for increased capacity. Variable rotor speed for different materials processing.

Safe for operators

Less fine particles and dust emissions generated. Reduced heat production.

Easy maintenance

Resistant to wear. Simple service via a service hatch.

Efficient M&J FineShred 3550 fine-shredder

M&J FineShred 3550 fine-shredder features a patented knife system fitted on a multi-edged rotor for optimal shredding performance. Material is fed into the rotor by a sensitive pusher which makes sure there is no forcing of the feed, keeping the heat generated to a minimum. It is capable of producing consistent material output from 10-100 mm.

Wide range of applications

Besides being an obvious choice for RDF production, M&J FineShred 3550 is also an ideal solution for many other recycling purposes. Due to its compatibility with many different materials, it can be used in various different applications. It also produces granules which can be conveyed with either belt or screw conveyors, allowing for more flexibility in your operations.

Designed for efficient performance

With a large cutting area for increased capacity and variable rotor speed for different materials processing, M&J FineShred 3550 has been built for efficiency. It has self-centering and shock resistant knife holders with cutting tolerance of 0.3 mm, providing you with an extremely fine shred.

In addition, the hydraulic drive offers an impact resistant and resonance free power transmission. It has a double hydrostatic system for the highest possible production output and performance available.

Safe for operators

M&J FineShred 3550 produces minimal fine particles and dust emissions, making it safe to operate. The sensitive pusher and precise cutting of materials lower the stress on the screen, which significantly reduces heat production and malfunctions.

Easy maintenance

The hydraulic driveshaft guarantees minimum wear and energy consumption while still producing top-quality RDF material. For minimal downtime, the knives and knife holders are fastened, changed and serviced easily via a service hatch placed on the outside part of the machines.

Single rotor fine-shredders

Two fine-shredder models, M&J FineShred 1550 and M&J FineShred 3550, are equipped with a single rotor.

The multi-edged rotor has a patented knife system and it is fed by a pusher.

The sensitivity of the pusher ensures that the material is not forced onto the rotor reducing heat generation.

A single rotor fine-shredder can process a wide range of different materials such as refuse derived fuel (RDF), hard plastics and PET in bales, rolls, bricks or loose.
