Global Business Services (GBS) in Vilnius
Metso Global Business Services (GBS) provides financial, customer logistics, procurement, marketing and business intelligence services for the whole Metso corporation. The Vilnius center objective is to centralize the related services and gain benefits from process harmonization, standardization and digitalization. Metso Global Business Services (GBS) center employs over 300 people in Vilnius, Lithuania.

What we do at Vilnius GBS
Finance department is providing services to 40+ countries across the globe. We are almost 200 specialists to support the Accounting and Controlling functions as:
- Accounts Payable
- Travel & Expense
- Cash Management
- Accounts Receivable
- Credit Control
- Master Data
- Treasury
- General Ledger
In addition to that we have 15 specialized roles as Key Users, Process Developers, Experts, and reporting / RPA / support functions.
Global Logistics Operations (GLO) is a logistics organization supporting Metso´s aftermarket business' parts and wears, as well as Pumps' parts. Main responsibilities are transportation, warehousing, inventory planning, Trade compliance services, supported by master data and excellence functions. In addition to the aftermarket parts and wears focus, GLO supports overall company level activities such as Trade Compliance and LSP contracts. GLO is part of overall supply chain. GLO is an international and diverse team having functions and team members in different locations around the world.
- Global Order Operations - this team is responsible for internal order management and technical order assurance.
- Logistics Control Tower - Supports operational logistics for overseas shipments.
- Global Inventory Planning – centralized function managing aftermarket inventory planning and optimization globally.
- Trade Compliance - supports Metso to comply with customs and export control requirements globally.
- Logistics Excellence - supports GLO and Business Areas with process, tools, and reporting development and deployment.
- Global Master Data Management – objective of this team is to maintain supply chain - level data in the system to enable business transactions.
- Business Analytics – supports business areas in combining both qualitative and quantitative data sets and transform them into actionable strategic insights.
- Content Studio – supports Metso business targets by creating useful and appealing content about our company and solutions to our target audiences.
- Crushing Products business line - the objective of the Crushing Products business line is to provide end-to-end business management and drive profitable growth for crusher spares and upgrades to mining and aggregate customers.

Manufacturing plant in Šiauliai
Metso continues to develop the global supply operations of its Minerals Consumables business by establishing a rubber and poly-met wear parts manufacturing plant in Šiauliai. The new manufacturing location started its operations in the beginning of July, 2020.
Today, Metso is the leading provider of rubber and poly-met mill lining, with a strong service network in all the main mining markets.
