ANNOUNCEMENT UNDER THE FINNISH SECURITIES MARKET ACT, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10 OF A CHANGE IN THE SHAREHOLDING IN OUTOTEC OYJ

In accordance with the Securities Market Act, Chapter 2, Section 10 Outotec Oyj announces that holding of Tamares Nordic Investments B.V. (Business code 51638061) in shares of Outotec Oyj (OTE1V) on November 8, 2011 has exceeded 5%. Holding of Tamares Nordic Investments B.V. in shares of Outotec is 2,356,519 shares, which represents 5.15% of the share capital and votes in the company.

The share capital of Outotec Oyj consists of 45,780,373 shares and each share is entitled to one vote at the general meeting of shareholders.
