Metso concludes consultations in Minerals business area organization

Metso has completed the local consultation processes initiated on October 7, 2025, within parts of its Minerals business area. As a result, approximately 80 positions will be reduced globally, including 43 positions in Finland.
The consultations focused on adjustments to the operating model and efficiency measures. Together with other actions already implemented, these changes will result in annual cost savings of EUR 13 million.
Metso has approximately 17,000 employees globally, and in Finland it employs around 3,000 people in several locations.
