CRU Phosphates 2021 Virtual Conference & Exhibition

Shailesh Chandrol, Director, Product Group Sulphuric Acid at Metso Outotec, will speak on the topic “Mazıdağı Case Study: Updated overview of an integrated metallurgical and fertilizer production facility and how digitalization has supported their operation".

The co-authors are: Kenan Soybelli, Production Manager, Eti Bakır A.Ş. and Collin Bartlett, Sales Director – BL Metals and Chemical Processing, Metso Outotec.

The presentation will cover the flowsheets and interconnections between the different process areas of the complex, the majority having been supplied by Metso Outotec. The key focus areas will be on the Pyrite Roaster, Waste Heat Boiler, Gas Cleaning and Acid Plant train, which is the heart of the project. Insights and experiences of plant operability and efficiency will be discussed and how this was supported by Metso Outotec digital solutions.
