Sebastian Lang
Director – Modelling & New Business
Sebastian Lang started his scientific career with a research project at Virginia Tech in 2009 and later, received his Ph.D. in 2015 from the University of Technology Darmstadt. After his time as a research associate at the Institute for Thermal Process Engineering, he joined Metso Outotec as a process specialist and is today responsible within the product group Ferrous as Director for business development and modeling topics. Sebastian says, his motivation to join Metso Outotec back then was to realize industrial-scale projects dealing with hydrogen, which was always a fascinating part of his research.
