Competition Terms and Conditions

1. This competition commences on Sunday, 5 November at 5.00pm ACDT and closes on Tuesday, 07 November at 5.30pm AEST. The winner will be announced at 5.40pm ACDT on Tuesday, 07 November and is open to all registered attendees of MetPlant 2023, but the winner does need to be present to win and collect. The winner will be contacted by Metso to collect the winning prize on Tuesday 07 November.
2. Only those 18 years of age or older may enter. Employees of Metso Australia Pty Ltd, their spouses and children, are excluded from participating.
3. The winning prize is a Lego set – LEGO® City Mining - Mining Experts Site 60188 - Opens in a new window
4. Prize is not redeemable against cash alternatives.
5. To participate, entrants must complete the task outlined on the competition poster. Entry is free. Entrants’ details are deemed confidential and will not be shared with any other company or party.
6. Metso Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
7. Metso Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to withdraw the competition at any time without notice.
8. All entrants agree to provide Metso Australia Pty Ltd with identification if selected as the winner. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Metso Australia Pty Ltd.
9. Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize.
10. By entering this competition, each winner agrees to indemnify and hold Metso Australia Pty Ltd harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind rising in the connection with or as a result of the winner’s acceptance or use of any prize.
11. The Promoter is not liable for any loss of damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
