Larox® PF Filter Mechanical Overview
This presentation will introduce the working principles of the Larox® PF filters and the general mechanical structure of the filter. The attendee will be able to describe the filter series and plate structures as well as explain the functionality of the consumable spare parts (cloths, seals, etc).
Larox® PF Filter Electrification, Instrumentation and Automation Overview
This presentation will review the filter electrical and automation drawings. The locations and functions of field devices and the coding logic will be explained. The attendee will be able to locate the field devices and describe how the filter runs in Auto mode
Larox® PF Filter Safety Overview
During this presentation, general safety measures and guidelines relevant to the filter will be explained. Focus will be given to the emergency safety circuit enabling the attendee to know the risks of operating and maintaining the filter along with understanding the filter’s safety features.
Larox® PF Filter Hydraulics Overview
This presentation will cover the hydraulic system componentry and symbols. The functionality of the hydraulic circuits and oil contamination control will also be covered enabling the attendee to identify symbols, field devices and operational circuits.
Larox® PF Filter Operation Overview
This presentation will train the attendee about the Operator Interface Unit (OIU) and will cover both the touchscreen structure and the handheld unit. It will also explain automatic functions available from the touchscreen. Topic Title Topic description
Larox® PF Filter Process Overview
During this presentation, the filter P&I diagrams will be covered along with the filter parameters and recipes. The attendee will be able to understand the P&I diagrams, identify auxiliary equipment and explain and describe the effects of recipe and parameter changes on filterability.
Larox® PF Filter Maintenance Overview
This presentation will visit basic and scheduled maintenance activities. Spare part recommendations and the use of the e-Catalogue will also be reviewed. The attendee will understand the need for scheduled maintenance and the use of the IOM and e-Catalogue.
