Two machines, up to 260 t/h achieved with Lokotrack® LT200HPX™ at Veraisen Sora

Two machine process with high output

At Veraisen Sora's Inkkiönkallio quarry, Tuomas Verainen, owner of Veraisen Sora, is always looking for ways to make production more efficient. One of the advantages of the Lokotrack® LT200HPX™ is that it combines high capacity with pre-screening, cone crushing and product screening in a compact track-mounted unit. The integrated pre-screen removes fines before they enter the crusher. With fine material bypassed, the crushing process becomes more efficient, helping increase capacity while reducing wear on wear parts. 

"The pre-screen separates the fines from the feed to get full power out of the crusher, and on top of that, it has a product screen at the back. With that, we can also create a closed circuit," says Verainen.

According to Verainen, the integrated product screen is another important feature of the LT200HPX. 

The large, two deck product screen classifies the crushed material, while the recirculation conveyor returns oversized material to the crusher when operating in a closed circuit. 

Depending on the process setup, the product screen can produce one, two or up to three accurately sized end products. With only two machines in the process, Veraisen Sora achieved up to 260 t/h in 0-32 mm production without the need for a separate mobile screen. 

Looking towards electrified crushing 

Verainen sees growing interest from customers in the energy consumption and environmental impact of aggregate production. 

"In the future, the plan is to switch completely to diesel-electric crushing, to focus more on electrification," he says. 

For Verainen, electrification is about more than fuel savings. It is also about using energy and natural resources more efficiently while preparing for future customer requirements.
