CVB Series™ screens

Durability and safety for demanding screening operations

CVB Series™ inclined screens are often used in quarries, gravel pits and mines, as well as in mobile screening applications. Ideal for high-capacity end-screening, rinsing, and wet processing, CVB Series™ inclined screens can handle both fine and coarse materials.

Wide range of applications

Abrasive rock, soft rock, gravel, recycling, industrial materials, and slag.

Durable screen design

Weld-free crossmember sections reduce the risk of fatigue stress.

Adjustable settings to optimize efficiency

Adjustable screen angle. Wide range to select optimal stroke and RPM parameters.

Reduced downtime

Low operational costs and high availability of wear and spare parts.

CVB Series™ inclined screens for reliable screening performance

Metso CVB Series™ inclined screens are circular motion screens.

The shaft line is positioned at the center of gravity resulting in a circular motion on all points of the screen. The particles are moved forward by the screen motion and by the gravity effect resulting from the screen angle. The travel speed of the material is even all along the decks.

Wide range of applications
CVB Series™ inclined screens are fully configurable with options which makes them suitable for even most demanding applications. Thanks to versatility, they are suitable for the coarsest separations to the finest ones.

Adjustable slope angle combined with circular motion gives very good screening efficiency for all types of applications such as primary, technical, and final screening.

CVB Series™ inclined screens are also able to operate under wet process, including washing or rinsing.

  • Any kind of screening application
  • Abrasive rock, soft rock, gravel, recycling, industrial materials, and slag

Durable screen design
The shaft line is made of Metso’s unique Modular Vibrators (Metso MV™) being flange mounted to the side walls and synchronized by a cardan shaft.

Each MV™ modular vibrator includes two bearings providing very long bearing life. To facilitate service, we also offer an exchange program for the MV™ vibrators.

CVB Series™ inclined screens’ side walls and the weld-free crossmember sections reduce the risk of fatigue stress and optimize the product life-time.

Adjustable settings to optimize efficiency
The screen angle is adjustable from 12-22° to favor either accuracy or capacity. Stroke and Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) parameters can be set up within a wide range to meet optimal performance.

The integrated feedbox is very deep and long to allow easy interface with the feed conveyor. Furthermore, the design provides immediate particle distribution over the first panel row of the top deck, delivering higher efficiency.

Reduced downtime
Low operational costs and high availability of wear and spare parts minimize expensive downtime.

CVB Series™ inclined screens have a high safety design. Replacing panels is safe and fast thanks to spacious room between the decks.

The integrated feed box and the discharge spouts are fitted with replaceable liners as a standard for premium wear protection. Optional cross member protection is also available to provide maximal uptime.

CVB Series™ inclined screens can also be fitted with either tensioned screening panels or modular snap-on panels. Optional modular panels are key elements in achieving good screening performance especially in abrasive applications, and to lower operational costs.
