Handles challenging slurry applications

High-solids slurries can place significant demands on pumping equipment. The LPP-T transfer series is designed for continuous-duty slurry transfer, handling solids concentrations of up to 60-80%, depending on application conditions.

Using a peristaltic hose pumping principle, the pump transfers media through a wear-resistant hose while only the hose and connection flanges are in contact with the process media. This helps reduce wear on critical pump components and simplify maintenance.

Advanced rolling design

The LPP-T series incorporates an advanced rolling design that reduces friction and heat generation while supporting reliable continuous-duty operation. Reduced friction supports continuous operation, maximizes hose life and lowers energy consumption. The design also supports continuous operation at high flow rates.

The design is capable of operating in continuous duty at maximum pressure and flow at the same operating point. Depending on the application, hose life can be up to 3 to 5 times longer than with conventional peristaltic hose pump designs. The LPP-T series uses only approximately 20% of the lubrication required by conventional peristaltic hose pumps, helping lower operating costs and maintenance requirements.
