VG Series™ scalping screens

Designed for the toughest applications

VG Series™ scalping screens, or grizzly scalpers as they are also called, are utilized in the primary crushing stage. They scalp the primary feed allowing fines to bypass the primary crusher. Screening the fines before the crusher results in higher overall capacity of the primary crushing stage.

High G force. Adjustable stroke. Perfect match with primary crushers.

Robust fully huck-bolted design. Easy maintenance. Options to meet special needs.

Diverse applications

For stationary, portable and mobile applications. Surface and underground. Abrasive rock, soft rock, gravel, recycling, industrial materials, slag.

VG Series™ scalping screens have many beneficial features.
Beneficial features

The speed and stroke are easily adjustable, ensuring optimal feed control of the primary crusher. The long stroke capability enables better scalping efficiency, delivering a linear motion with high G force (5.5 G).

VG Series™ scalping screens are slightly inclined at 5° to reduce blinding when feed is sticky and contains fines (increased capacity). They can be fitted with various grizzly bar options to allow wide separation flexibility.

The vibrator beam is weld-free and fully huck-bolted for optimal, robust performance. The vibrator and cardan shaft design, in turn, ensure a more reliable operation than a direct belt-drive design.
