The Mesa Service Center delivers OEM-quality repairs, refurbishments, and field service support that help mining and mineral processing operations maintain performance, safety, and reliability across North and Central America. The campus also features an on-site Training Center where customers and service teams gain hands-on training using advanced simulators and real equipment.

Service Center

The Mesa Service Center supports mining and mineral processing operations with advanced repair and refurbishment capabilities designed to restore equipment to OEM specifications and extend service life. The facility provides comprehensive lifecycle support for Metso equipment — from inspection and diagnostics to full component rebuilds and assemblies. Heavy-duty infrastructure and experienced technicians allow the facility to safely service large mining components while supporting reliable equipment performance across customer operations.

Capabilities & Services

Overhead crane capacity up to 65 tons, with two-shift operations for fast turnaround
Machining: 20’ vertical lathe, horizontal boring mill, and auxiliary machines
Welding: 60-ton tilt weld positioner, sub-arc welding, 50’ floor weld table
Heat treatment and stress-relief ovens
Component and mechanical assembly repairs using OEM parts
Babbitt bearing services
Filter plate straightening
Static and dynamic testing of screens

Training Center

Developing the next generation of mining professionals through immersive, hands-on learning.

Metso’s Mesa facility is home to our Training Center, supporting customer training and delivering global, competency-based programs using advanced simulators, digital learning tools, classroom instruction, and hands-on training with fully operational equipment. This center is one of Metso’s first global training facilities designed specifically for dedicated Academy programs.
