Service Center
The Mesa Service Center supports mining and mineral processing operations with advanced repair and refurbishment capabilities designed to restore equipment to OEM specifications and extend service life. The facility provides comprehensive lifecycle support for Metso equipment — from inspection and diagnostics to full component rebuilds and assemblies. Heavy-duty infrastructure and experienced technicians allow the facility to safely service large mining components while supporting reliable equipment performance across customer operations.
Capabilities & Services
- Overhead crane capacity up to 65 tons, with two-shift operations for fast turnaround
- Machining: 20’ vertical lathe, horizontal boring mill, and auxiliary machines
- Welding: 60-ton tilt weld positioner, sub-arc welding, 50’ floor weld table
- Heat treatment and stress-relief ovens
- Component and mechanical assembly repairs using OEM parts
- Babbitt bearing services
- Filter plate straightening
- Static and dynamic testing of screens
Training Center

Metso’s Mesa facility is home to our Training Center, supporting customer training and delivering global, competency-based programs using advanced simulators, digital learning tools, classroom instruction, and hands-on training with fully operational equipment. This center is one of Metso’s first global training facilities designed specifically for dedicated Academy programs.
