New sets of shells and concaves have been implemented after countless hours of research and development. These new improvements to the Metso Superior™ MKIII primary gyratory crushers brings up to 70% reduction in downtime. 

Crusher maintenance downtime has also produced a significant size decrease of the primary stock pile as well.

Advanced automation

Metso's Superior™ MKIII primary gyratory crushers all can include Metso's SmartStation, which combines innovative monitoring tools. Tools such as VisioRock® and VisioTruck® along with expanded sensors on the equipment and bin/hopper, enabling intelligent measurement and automated-control of crushing operation for optimal ore processing and distribution.

The system includes on-line analysis and detailed reporting of plant operations.

Easy and safe maintenance

Metso's Superior™ MKIII primary gyratory crushers bring safety and easy maintenance to any crushing plant. Hydraulic separation and individual lifting of shells creates a better environment for any workers on site working with the equipment. 

With Metso's SmartStation there has also been additional increases in operational safety. These allow better understanding of where maintenance will be needed and help predict routine maintenance as well.
